We offer a range of essential airpark services tailored to meet the needs of pilots and small commercial operators. Our focus is on providing reliable and well-maintained facilities for general aviation and helicopter operations.
Landing & tiedown
Competitive landing and tiedown fees for general aviation aircraft. Runway length: 2900 feet x 75 feet asphalt.
Maintenance support
Information on available maintenance services for aircraft and helicopters. Contact Fred Gindl 416-554-8674 for details. Presently Seasonal Only.
Kitimat flying club

Kitimat Airpark is known for its friendly atmosphere and dedication to serving general aviation, small commercial users, and helicopter companies. We are a vital community asset supporting emergency services, tourism, and local economic development in Kitimat, British Columbia.
Club membership
The Kitimat Flying Club is an aviation club of pilots, student pilots and aviation enthusiasts that utilize the Kitimat Airpark, which is owned by the district of Kitimat, and leased to the Flying Club, who operate and manage the airpark. Flying Club volunteers maintain the property and facilities for emergency services, community and recreational use.
Membership dues
Annual Kitimat Flying Club Membership Dues:
Adult (19+ yrs): $50
COPA Member (current; provide COPA #): $25
Youth (16-18 yrs): $25
COPA youth: $12.50
Family (2 adults & children (under 19 yrs) in 1 home): $85
Single COPA Family (1 COPA member in family): $70
Double COPA Family (2 COPA members in family): $42.50
No Landing Fee for aircraft under 2500Kgs
Tiedown Fees for Club members: First 5 days free /$10 per month or $100 per year.
Tiedown Fees non-member: First 5 days free and $5 per day after.
